Bicolanos

I take pride sharing my hometown with Joker Arroyo, Chiz Escudero and Jun Lozada, among others.

Bicolanos are known to be always at the top of their game, and most of the time, righteous.

But what's with Joker today? If you watched the Senate inquiry (around 5:30 pm), you'd know why I'm soooo irritated with how Joker acted. Joker is my favorite Senator. Until today.

Mr. Senator, stop doing that to Lozada. We all know what this administration is up to.

  2. contrary to your opinion tonight, I think there was nothing wrong with what Sen. Joker did... and how he questioned Lozada. =) Sorry. But I guess we can' tjust take everything Lozada says as gospel truth, you know. Basta, there's some reason to believe that maybe, some people are really behind Lozada. Minsan kasi ang oposisyon dito wala rin talaga kwenta.Puro ingay lang.

  3. Joker was too harsh, he was attacking the person, not the claims, arguments. It was very unusual, and uncalled for Joker to act that way. :)

Actually hindi na issue whether opposition or administration..it was just so obvious that the govt side could not answer properly. :) hehe :)

Ah basta, mag senador na tayo Lia! Haha :)

  4. e well, kampi pa rin ako kay Joker. Strategy din kasi talaga siraan yung personality para ma-establish kung credible ba talaga. If the administration has something to boast off- it's the fact that they got three good senators on their side- Arroyo, Enrile and Defensor-Santiago.

  5. I agree... Is he also guilty? what's with "Don't mess with my wife thingie". Hay... I realized that he needs to retire.

  7. i dont know why Joker cut off Lozada on a subject Joker himself brought up. To think that he used to be a human rights lawyer. Shame, shame. To destroy the credibility of a person, which in itself is a despicable and diabolic legal maneuver, just to see if a person is telling the truth or not is the lowest of the low.

Enrile and Santiago good senators? One is the architect of Martial Law who remains in the Senate only to protect his family's interests. The one is a stark, raving lunatic who edged on the crowd on "EDSA 3" and then disappeared in the shadows only to reemerge with the administration.

Come on girl, if these are the "good" senators in the Senate, then i'll take Lito "I-know-how-many-lizards-are-there-on-the-ceiling-of-the-Senate-floor" Lapid.

  9. it's not as if joker was the first person to do that in the senate. and yes, while hitting at a person's credibility is the "lowest of the low" means to get at the truth- it's a fact that that's how your politicians have become. whether admin or oppo.

  10. then take Lito Lapid.

they're good senators for me. we each have our own bet. =)

  11. most of today's politicians, whether admin or opposition, have been found wanting. that is why we need to demand more of our politicians, who are supposedly "public servants." we should never stop trying because it will be the death of us.

  12. obviously, i was using irony here when i was referring to Lapid. right now, im just shaking my head.
